Goal and categories

Two to eight players write answers beginning with a randomly selected letter. Categories are country, city, animal, plant, name and thing. Everyone uses the room's game language. For example, Canada fits country for C in English, but each field must contain an answer appropriate to its category.

Writing

Everyone writes simultaneously and other players' answers stay hidden until writing ends. An answer needs at least two characters, the selected starting letter, and permitted text characters such as letters, spaces or hyphens. Put each answer in its correct field. Matching the initial letter alone does not establish category validity.

STOP and time

Submit your answers, or use STOP after filling all six categories with formally valid entries. The first STOP reduces the remaining time to at most ten seconds. Once everyone submits or time expires, answers are revealed.

Reviewing together

During review, object to another player's answer if needed. The engine does not independently establish whether every animal, name or thing exists: it checks format and players judge meaning. An answer is rejected when a majority of the other active players object. You may withdraw an objection before review closes. Review lasts at most 45 seconds, shortened if everyone is ready.

Points and victory

If you are the only player with an accepted answer in a category, it scores 15. An accepted answer different from the others scores 10. If another player has the same accepted answer in that category, each scores 5. Empty, malformed or rejected answers score zero. After 3, 5 or 10 rounds, the highest total wins and tied totals draw. This is a casual game.
