  1. In short

Draw & Guess is a casual drawing game for 2–20 players. One player draws a chosen word and the others guess it by typing answers in the table chat. The faster you guess, the more points you get. Players take turns drawing.

  2. Getting started

Join the room. The game starts when at least two people are in it; you can join at any time, even during a game. The room's language sets the language of the words and answers, regardless of the language of the buttons.

  3. Drawing order

Only a person who taps the pencil (“I want to draw”) draws (first in line draws first); the button then changes to “I don't want to draw anymore”. If nobody volunteers, the game waits. The drawer chooses one of three words. They have 15 seconds to choose, and after that the game picks the first. The next players draw in the order they volunteered.

  4. Drawing

Draw the word using the available colours and line thicknesses. You can undo the last stroke or clear the drawing. Do not write the answer on the board.

  5. Guessing

The others type their answers in the table chat. A correct word or an accepted variant of it scores points. After guessing correctly you cannot score for the same word a second time. Anyone in the room can guess; the drawer does not type in the chat.

  6. Time and hints

The settings set the drawing time. During the turn the game gradually reveals some of the letters. The turn ends when time runs out or right after the first correct guess; the word then appears in the chat. Then the answer is shown briefly and the next turn begins.

  7. Points and the end

A guesser gets from 10 to 40 points depending on speed. The first correct guess gives the drawer the guesser's points plus 10, at most 50. If nobody guesses, the drawer loses 10 points. Scores are visible in the player list. After a turn in which the chosen point threshold is reached, the highest score among the remaining players wins, and an equal score is a draw. Leaving a game counts as resigning, and when one player remains they win because the opponents resigned. A new game starts by itself after a short countdown. The game is casual.
